To develop job-hunting/job-related skills

Objective
Learners will identify activities they have a strong interest in. This exercise can be very useful for a job search.

Activity

Pass out the checklist of interests and give everyone a few minutes to check all their interests and double check their very strong interests.

Each student should select their top five interests and discuss them briefly.

Students can break into small groups for a brief discussion/sharing, or this can be done as a whole class.

Students may wish to refer to this list when choosing a job to research or when writing their resumes.
